காற்றாடியும் நூலும் – நட்பின் கதை
விடுமுறை நாளில் கார்த்திக் ஒரு சிவப்புக் காற்றாடியைப் பறக்கவிட்டான். அது காற்றில் உயர உயரப் பறந்தது. மேகங்களைத் தொட்டுக்கொண்டு மிகுந்த மகிழ்ச்சியாக இருந்தது.
காற்றாடி கீழே பார்த்து நூலிடம், “நீ என்னைக் கட்டிப் போடுகிறாய். நீ இல்லாவிட்டால் நான் இன்னும் உயரப் பறப்பேன்,” என்றது. நூல் அமைதியாக இருந்தது.
அப்போது வேறொரு காற்றாடி மோதியதில் நூல் அறுந்தது. “இப்போது நான் சுதந்திரம்!” என்று நினைத்தது காற்றாடி. ஆனால் உடனே தள்ளாடிக் கீழே விழத் தொடங்கியது.
காற்றாடி ஒரு மரக்கிளையில் சிக்கியது. கார்த்திக் அதை எடுத்து, புதிய நூல் கட்டினான். நூல் தன்னைத் தடுக்கவில்லை, உயரப் பறக்கவே உதவுகிறது என்று இப்போது காற்றாடி புரிந்துகொண்டது.

நம்மைத் தாங்கி நிற்பவர்களே நம்மை உயர்த்துகிறார்கள்.
English Summary
Karthik’s red kite soars high and complains that its string holds it back. When the string is cut, the kite tumbles into a tree. Karthik ties a new string, and the kite realizes the string is what helps it fly high.
