পিঁপড়ে আর ঘাসফড়িং – পরিশ্রমের গল্প
গ্রীষ্মকালে একটা পিঁপড়ে সকাল থেকে সন্ধ্যা পর্যন্ত খাবার জমাত। আর একটা ঘাসফড়িং সারাদিন শুধু গান গাইত আর নাচত।
ঘাসফড়িং হেসে বলল, “এত খাটছ কেন? এসো, আমার সঙ্গে গান গাও।” পিঁপড়ে বলল, “বর্ষা আসছে, আমি খাবার জমিয়ে রাখছি। তুমিও রাখো।”
ঘাসফড়িং কথা শুনল না। তারপর বর্ষা এল। চারদিকে জল আর কাদা। ঘাসফড়িঙের খাওয়ার কিছু নেই। সে খিদেয় আর ঠান্ডায় কাঁপতে লাগল।
সে পিঁপড়ের বাড়ি গেল। দয়ালু পিঁপড়ে তাকে খাবার দিল আর বলল, “পরের বার একটু কাজও কোরো।” পরের বছর ঘাসফড়িংও খাবার জমাল।
নীতিকথা (Moral of the Story)
আজকের পরিশ্রম কালকের সুখ।
English Summary
All summer the ant gathers food while the grasshopper sings and dances. When the monsoon comes, the hungry grasshopper knocks on the ant’s door. The kind ant shares her food, and the grasshopper promises to work ahead next year.
