الأسد والفأر – قصة ذات عبرة
كان أسد نائمًا تحت شجرة في الغابة. مرّ فأر صغير يلعب، فصعد فوقه. استيقظ الأسد وأمسك الفأر بمخلبه.
قال الفأر متوسلًا: «أرجوك يا ملك الغابة، اتركني، وربما أساعدك يومًا ما». ضحك الأسد: «أنت الصغير تساعدني؟» لكنه تركه يذهب.
بعد أيام، وقع الأسد في شبكة صياد. كلما حاول الخروج، ازداد التفافًا. زأر زئيرًا عاليًا سمعته الغابة كلها.
سمع الفأر الزئير فأسرع إليه، وأخذ يقرض حبال الشبكة بأسنانه الحادة حتى تحرر الأسد. قال الأسد: «اليوم تعلمت أنه لا أحد صغير على المساعدة».
العبرة (Moral of the Story)
لا تستهن بأحد، فقد يكون الصغير عونًا كبيرًا.
English Summary
A lion catches a mouse who wakes him but lets him go when the mouse promises to help someday. Later the lion is trapped in a hunter’s net, and the mouse gnaws through the ropes to free him. No one is too small to help.
