The Silver Penny

In a quaint medieval village, a poor cobbler found a silver penny while repairing a pair of shoes. Though he was poor, he was kind-hearted and decided to use the penny to help others. He gave it to a beggar who was starving, bought food for an orphan, and used it to repair the village’s broken bridge.

As he continued to help others, the cobbler’s generosity did not go unnoticed. One day, a mysterious old woman appeared and revealed that the silver penny had magical properties. She explained that it would grant one wish to the person who had shown genuine kindness.

The cobbler wished for his village to prosper and for all its inhabitants to live in peace and happiness. Over time, the village flourished with abundant crops, good health, and harmony among its people. The cobbler became a symbol of generosity and kindness, and his story spread far and wide.

Moral: Genuine kindness and selflessness can bring about remarkable changes and rewards.
