Once upon a time, in a dense forest, there lived a cruel lion. He hunted and killed animals daily, causing great fear among the forest creatures. The animals decided to offer him one animal daily to stop his ruthless hunting. The lion agreed.
One day, it was a clever rabbit’s turn. Instead of going early, the rabbit arrived late. The angry lion roared, “Why are you late?”
The rabbit calmly said, “A stronger lion stopped me on the way and claimed to be the king of the forest.”
Furious, the lion demanded, “Take me to him!”
The rabbit led him to a deep well and pointed inside. The lion saw his own reflection in the water and thought it was another lion. He roared and jumped inside to attack, drowning instantly.
The clever rabbit saved the forest!
